I did this a couple years ago....bike has to go to dealer, which is good times when you can't start it. Winch wouldn't help as the key has to be on for it to work. I loaded mine into my truck by pushing it on with my old Polaris. Key was 27 bucks and an hour (what?) labour to do literally 2 minutes of work. Pissed me off enough to never go back to the Can Am dealer in Kenora. Enns programmed a second key for me for the price of the key. Each dealer is different. Sometimes different for different people too. I've heard of some people getting charged $60, and some people get charged $15. When I got my bike I got a second key made the same day I bought it.
