Amy Macdonald has very early interest in music. During her teens, she wrote her first songs accompanied by guitar borrowed from his father. It is a self-taught musician. She notably wrote a text on the fanaticism of his sister to Ewan McGregor. She began to perform on stage at age 13, when a group of musicians in his college to work with students and give concerts in Glasgow. She has an older sister named Katy.

A second album was released on March 8, 2010, entitled A curious thing and including the title whose ‘ Tell Me That It’s Over .
