Ride and Flight Simulators at Air and Space
Ride and Flight Simulators take place at the Air and Space Museum every day, except Christmas, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rides take place on the first floor of the National Air and Space Museum in Gallery 103 (west side) National Mall, 7th and Independence Ave. SW in Washington, D.C.

There are simulators at the Udvar-Hazy Center near Dulles Airport.
The cost is $7 for ride simulators and $8 for flight simulators. For information, call 202-633-1000.
The Bishop's Garden
The Bishop's Garden is open daily (from dawn to dusk) on the grounds of the Washington National Cathedral, on the corner of Massachusetts and Wisconsin avenues NW in Washington, D.C.
This is a lovely garden with rambling stone paths, a gazebo, rose garden, garden sculptures and many benches. The perfect time to visit is a summer evening just before sunset.
Admission is free.

Claude Moore Colonial Farm at Turkey Run
The Claude Moore Colonial Farm is open April through mid-December, Wednesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The farm is closed Mondays, Tuesdays, July 4 and Thanksgiving
It is at 6310 Georgetown Pike Road in McLean, Va.
The year is 1771. A visit to the Claude Moore Colonial Farm is a visit to another world the world of an 18th-century family living on a small, low-income farm just prior to the Revolutionary War.

Daily Programs at President's Park
President's Park programs take place Monday through Saturday, except holidays, at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 am and 1:30 p.m.
The White House Visitor Center is at 1450 Pennsylvania Ave. NW in Washington, D.C.

I’ve been to the Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. more times than I could ever count, and always love going to it. I didn’t know that there was an extension to it in Dulles till John mentioned he’d like to go there. On top of that, my uncle, who was here over Christmas, highly recommended to see it. As it worked out, John’s return trip to Perth left from Dulles, so it was decided to combine taking him to the airport with seeing the Air and Space Museum in Dulles.
Enric drove and Silas went with us, helping to make this sad day of good-byes a little easier.
